Tricom Research, Inc., located in Irvine, California, has received a multi-year IDIQ sub-contract award to provide their 50 Watt Wideband Power Amplifier (TCR-MBA-50-WB) for USSOCOM.

TCR-MBA-50-WB

The TCR-MBA-50-WB will enhance integrated communications systems in SOF’s Ground Mobility Platform series of vehicles. The TCR-MBA-50-WB is a State-of-the-Art Tactical RF Power Amplifier designed to extend the range of modern Handheld and Manpack Transceivers. The Amplifier supports emerging Wideband Networking Waveforms including the Soldier Radio Waveform (SRW) and the Adaptive Networking Wideband Waveform (ANW2), as well as legacy Narrowband LOS and SATCOM Waveforms such as Integrated Waveform (IW), DAMA, SINCGARS and HAVEQUICK.

Additionally, the Amplifier integrates seamlessly into systems using new Advanced Special Communications Modes (ASCM) in both LOS and SATCOM. The TCR-MBA-50-WB allows for flexible communications installations and can be powered from a single BA-5590 battery as well as 12 and 24 Volt vehicle power.
